Up for auction is a 2016 Ferrari LaFerrari with 918 miles on the odometer.

A 2016 Ferrari LaFerrari coupe with a unique paint color and only 918 miles on the odometer will be auctioned by RM Sotheby's on November 6.

The LaFerrari was Maranello's flagship supercar of the 2010s, the spiritual successor to the F40, F50, and Enzo. It was also Ferrari's first production hybrid road car, and was introduced at about the same time as the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder, forming a "trinity" of hybrid supercars.

The hybrid powertrain consists of a mid-mounted 6.3-liter V12 engine, two electric motors, and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Total system output is 950 hp, and according to Ferrari, the LaFerrari Coupe accelerates from 0-60 mph in less than 3.0 seconds. It is also said to have a top speed of over 217 mph.

Ferrari built 499 LaFerrari coupes for regular production, plus a 500th LaFerrari coupe for a charity auction. Subsequently, 209 LaFerrari Aperta convertibles were produced, plus one more for charity.

The car was finished in a one-off combination of Vinaccia exterior (purplish or plum color) and Pelle Chiodi di Garofano (brown) interior. The front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser are finished in satin black, while the five-spoke alloy wheels and brake calipers are finished in Grigio (gray) and Nero (black), respectively. It also features an automatic suspension lift and matching luggage set.

It was delivered to a Switzerland-based collector in 2016 through Ferrari dealer Niki Hasler, who then sold it to the current consignor and moved it to the UK. The pre-auction estimate of $3 million to $3.4 million is consistent with previous LaFerrari pricing; in 2017, someone paid $2.2 million for a prototype LaFerrari that could not legally be driven on the road.
