Bugatti announced Wednesday in a press release regarding the 2021 sales that the Bugatti Chiron and Volide have officially sold out.

When the Chiron was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti confirmed a production quota of 500 units for the Veyron successor. Bugatti announced in October 2021 that 40 production slots remained available.

Bugatti announced several Chiron variants, including the Super Sport 300+, whose prototype broke the 300 mph barrier in September 2019. Bugatti announced the production version shortly thereafter and began taking orders, but deliveries of the planned 30 customer cars only began in October 2021. The last Chiron-based Divo was also delivered in 2021.

Bugatti had previously stated that the final 40 Chirons would be Pur Sport and Super Sport models. The planned price is approximately $4.7 million, and deliveries are expected to begin in 2024.

Bugatti expects to deliver 80 cars in 2024, including the first Chiron Super Sport and a limited edition St. Dieche, a Chiron inspired by the 1990s Bugatti EB 110. Bugatti Rimac now operates as Bugatti Rimac, a joint venture between Porsche and Rimac, with Rimac founder and CEO Mate Rimac heading the new company. Bugatti Rimac has already announced four cars, one of which could appear later this year.
