The fifth and sixth seasons of the series Formula 1: Survive are now available on Netflix.

"Formula One: Drive to Survive" has been extended for two more seasons.

F1 Management confirmed on Thursday that it has been renewed for a fifth and sixth season on Netflix.

According to an F1 press release, Season 4 continues to grow in popularity, drawing its largest audience to date and ranking in the weekly top 10 in 56 countries.

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said in March that "Drive to Survive" must add value to F1 in order to continue. So far, the TV series seems to meet the conditions sufficient for F1 to commit to it in the long term.

Season 4 was aided by the drama of the championship battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen that went down to the last lap of the final race, with Verstappen winning the championship in controversial fashion.

The 2022 F1 season is already material for television coverage. New regulations have changed car designs and shaken up the racing field; as of early May, Red Bull Racing remains strong, Mercedes AMG is underperforming, and the Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr. Ferrari duo remain the main challengers to Verstappen and teammate Sergio Perez.

Already this year, several storylines have emerged for the next season of Drive to Survive. For example, George Russell's long-awaited move from Williams to Mercedes, McLaren's continued fight to regain past glory, Haas' decision to fire Nikita Mazepin and sponsor Uralkali over the Russian invasion of Ukraine and bring back Kevin Magnusson Such as.
