Picasso 660 LMS, 2023 Polestar 3, 2024 Audi S4: best photos of the week

Swiss startup Picasso Automotive has unveiled a supercar that is at home on winding roads and race tracks alike. It is called the 660 LMS and combines more than 600 horsepower with a curb weight of less than 2,200 pounds.

Another startup that made headlines this week was Dutch company Lightyear, which unveiled a sleek sedan with solar panels on the roof. The company claims that these panels can add up to 6.2 miles of range with just one hour of sunlight.

Polestar unveiled its first SUV in the form of a mid-sizer twin to Volvo's XC90 successor. Named Polestar 3, the Polestar will be built in the U.S.

Polestar's youth-oriented sister brand, Lynk & Co. unveiled a concept that previews future design language and powertrain technology. Unfortunately, the concept itself is not expected to spawn a production model.

Audi was testing the redesigned S4 this week, specifically the S4 Avant wagon. Our spy shots show the speed wagon from most angles, including the interior.

Another test vehicle is the hardcore Ferrari SF90 Stradale. This car should appear within the next 18 months and will likely appear alongside a similar hardcore version of the SF90 Spyder.

Cadillac is one of the automakers that has stated that it will launch an LMDh racing car that can compete in both the IMSA Sports Car Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship. This week we premiered the Cadillac LMDh, which is being developed for the 2023 motorsports season.

BMW M also premiered its LMDh racing car, which will compete at the top level of the IMSA sports car championship starting in 2023. It is powered by a new V-8 hybrid powertrain and is expected to transition to the world of production cars.
