GMC cites supply logistics, supply chain, and technology cost increases as reasons for the price increase. Its price, previously $99,995, now starts at $106,245 (including a $1,995 destination charge.) The 3X uses the same 24-module battery pack as the Edition 1 and features a 0-60 mph time of about 3 seconds with Watts According to GMC, the Extreme Off-Road Package will also be an option.
The price change will increase the EV 2X to $96,245 and the EV 2 to $86,245; the EV 2X will have two motors instead of three; the EV 2, which is not expected to arrive until the 2024 model year, will also have two motors, and the air suspension and four-wheel steering that were standard on the first model will be discontinued. four-wheel steering, which was standard on the first model, will be eliminated.
The Hummer EV SUVs will come in the same editions 1, 3X, 2X, and 2. The price increases will bring them to $111,845, $106,245, $96,245, and $86,245, respectively. These models were originally scheduled to hit the market in early 2023, but that date is unknown at this time.
