2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition, commemorating the 75th anniversary of America's flagship vehicle.
Ford's F-Series has been with us since the 1948 model year.
To celebrate this milestone, Ford is offering a Heritage Edition option on the XLT-grade 2023 F-150 pickup. This option adds several retro touches, including a two-tone paint finish that was popular in the 1970s and 1980s. Ford calls this two-tone paint finish the A-B-A finish, which uses one color for the top and lower sections and two colors for the center of the truck. Five combinations are available, as shown in the gallery.
The interior is gray and black, with embossing on the seat trim and console lid. The "75 Years" logo appears on the windshield at the top center and on the screens of the instrument cluster and infotainment hub.
Since the F-150 Heritage Edition is based on the XLT grade, customers can choose between a 3.3-liter V-6, a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6, or a 5.0-liter V-8. The driver can also choose between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.
The price of the F-150 Heritage Edition will be revealed when orders begin in mid-July. Production is scheduled to begin in the fall.
Ford has not yet revealed all the changes planned for the 2023 F-150 lineup, but we do know that there will be a new value off-road grade named Rattler. A new F-150 Raptor R with a V-8 engine is also expected to arrive soon.
