Hyundai's new N model is announced, with a debut date of July 15.

Hyundai's N model line is about to expand again.

On Monday, Hyundai teased three upcoming N models on its Global N Instagram account. The teasers are part of the announcement of N-Day, which will take place on July 15.

In one teaser, a blurry vehicle is placed on a race track. Despite the blur, the vehicle appears to be a hatchback and is painted in the distinctive performance blue that previous N models have worn for their debut.

Given the timing and profile, this could be the Ioniq 5 N electric car that has been spotted testing on both the street and the track on numerous occasions.

Spy shots show that the Ioniq 5 N features lowered suspension, wider front and rear tracks, low-profile tires, and new wheel designs. Brakes have been upgraded with larger calipers and rotors. Changes will also be made to the front and rear masks. Maximum output will be 576 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque, and 0-60 mph acceleration will be approximately 3.5 seconds. All-wheel drive will likely be standard.

The second image shows a sedan or fastback with a large rear wing. Based on the profile, it could be a Sonata N, or it could be based on a vehicle not currently in the lineup.

The second teaser notes that the vehicle is envisioned as "the future of the N with a legacy," suggesting that the blue car in the first image may be an electric car and the second car may be the last hurrah for the new gas-powered N car.

The third image appears to be the upcoming Ioniq 6 N, based on the taillight design and profile in the teaser image; the Ioniq 6 will be unveiled in June and will arrive in the U.S. in 2023; based on the Ioniq 5's suspension, the Ioniq 6 N is expected to share the 5 N's power train is expected to be shared.
