Lamborghini Aventador Successor, Porsche Macan EV, Volkswagen Amarok: today's automotive news
The successor to the Lamborghini Aventador was spotted testing on public roads. Equipped with hybrid technology and a new V12 engine, the redesigned supercar will take Lamborghini into the next era.
Also spotted was the electric Porsche Macan, scheduled for release in 2023. The electric Macan is a true next-generation design, but it will not immediately replace the current gas-powered crossover, as Porsche plans to sell both in parallel for several years.
Volkswagen has revealed the redesigned Amarok, a mid-size pickup truck twin to the redesigned Ford Ranger coming to showrooms next year. While the new Amarok will not be seen in the U.S., VW is planning an electric pickup for the U.S. market that will carry the Scout badge. [More automotive news from Motor Authority today.
