2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, 2024 Polestar 2: Today's Auto News
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is priced at $105,550. But that's where it starts, not the end; the 580 4Matic model will cost $127,100 before options. There are no official EPA regulations yet, but Mercedes estimates the range of the base 450+ rear-wheel-drive model at up to 305 miles. The range of the more powerful dual-motor model drops to 285 miles.
The top speed of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has finally been revealed by Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter to be 195 miles per hour. This figure means that Juechter and his team have not reached the official top speed. Buyers should note that with the optional Z07 High Downforce package, the top speed drops to 189 mph thanks to the huge rear wing.
The 2024 Polestar 2 begins public road testing. The electric sedan will be refreshed, but the changes are very mild and so far appear to be limited to an updated grille, new wheel designs, and perhaps a tweak to the electronic chassis system.
