2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV priced at $105,550 with a range of up to 305 miles
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will start at $105,550 including destination and will have an estimated maximum range of 305 miles when it arrives at U.S. dealers this fall.
Both figures apply to the base EQS 450+ version, which uses a single motor that produces 355 hp and 419 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. The dual-motor all-wheel drive EQS 450 4Matic and EQS 580 4Matic are also available, both with an estimated range of 285 miles.
The EQS 450 4Matic starts at $108,550 including destination, but Mercedes has not confirmed output for this model; the EQS 580 4Matic has a base price of $127,100, with maximum output of 536 hp and maximum torque of 633 lb-ft. Acceleration and top speed figures have not been disclosed.
Like other recent Mercedes models, the EQS SUV will be available in multiple trim levels. The base Premium trim includes leather seats, heated and cooled front seats, panoramic roof, 20-inch wheels (21-inch on the EQS 580 4Matic), Burmester audio system, rear axle steering wheel, 64-color ambient lighting, The EQS 580 4matic model also comes standard with a 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen display.
For an additional $4,250, the mid-level Exclusive trim adds a heads-up display, massaging front seats, four-zone automatic climate control, Mercedes-Benz logo projector, and an in-car perfume spritzer.
Exclusive features.The top-of-the-line Pinnacle trim level, which demands an additional $2,000 price premium over the Exclusive, features "Comfort" rear headrests and rear tablet interface as well as "Executive" second row with armrest and seat-to-seat wireless phone charging Additional second-row seats.
Customers also get a free 30-minute DC fast-charging session at Electrify America stations for two years from activation of their Mercedes Me account and two years of Mercedes Me Charge, which allows streamlined charging payments via the Mercedes Me app.
The EQS SUV will be assembled at the Mercedes plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with the battery manufactured at a nearby plant in Bibb County, Alabama. The Tuscaloosa plant will also manufacture the EQE SUV, which is scheduled to be unveiled on October 16.
