Jeep Recon, Jeep Avenger, Chevrolet Equinox EV: Automotive News Headlines
Jeep has unveiled three of the four electric SUVs it plans to launch by 2025. The centerpiece is an electric vehicle that will replace the Wrangler. It is called the Recon and packs all of Jeep's off-road know-how on parent company Stellantis' STLA large EV platform.
Another electric SUV is the Baby Jeep, which will go by the name Avenger, and we have spy shots of a prototype. Sadly, this SUV has not been confirmed for sale in the US.
Chevrolet will soon have an attractive option for EV buyers on a tight budget in the form of the Equinox EV. The stylish compact crossover will be available in the fall of 2023, with prices starting at just $30,000 for the final base model. [more of this and other automotive news from Motor Authority today.
