2023 Maserati Levante and Ghibli F Tribute Special Edition to Celebrate F1 Driver Maria Teresa de Filippis
Maserati is launching two special editions to honor Maria Teresa de Filippis, the first woman to qualify for the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The 2023 Maserati Ghibli F Tribute Special Edition and Levante F Tribute Special Edition are available in a saturated orange called Arancio Deville, inspired by de Filippis' nickname, "The Female Devil." It includes a unique exterior color. Also available is Grigio Ramiera (gray), a color exclusive to the second model.
The special edition cars are equipped with 21-inch wheels, with different designs for the Ghibli F-tribute and Levante F-tribute versions. The orange car will have cobalt blue wheel accents and badges, while the gray car will have orange badges. The interior features contrast stitching in cobalt blue and orange, with black or brown leather seats.
Eight years after the inception of the F1 series, de Filippis became the first woman to enter Formula One when she qualified for the 1958 Belgian Grand Prix in a Maserati 250F. She finished the race in tenth place. Prior to that, she competed in the 1955 Targa Florio in a Maserati A6GCS shared with Luigi Bellucci, finishing ninth overall and fourth in the 2.0-liter class

This special edition not only pays tribute to female pioneers in motorsports, but also recalls Maserati's racing heritage. Maserati plans to return to motorsports, starting with a Formula E campaign in 2023, and also plans to compete in the SRO GT2 European Series with the MC20 supercar.
Maserati has not confirmed pricing or production numbers for the F Tribute Special Edition, but a spokesperson said it will be available only for the 2023 model year in the U.S. and Canada, with deliveries expected to begin in the first quarter of 2023.
The Ghibli and Levante are nearing the end of their life cycle. The Levante is expected to be revived with an electric powertrain as Maserati looks to discontinue gas engines by 2030, but the Ghibli will not be replaced.
