Morgan streamlines its lineup to Plus and Super.

Morgan, a British manufacturer of modern sports cars that seem to have sprung out of the first half of the last century, has set up a new "product pillar" to make it easier for customers to recognize the location of certain models.

The product pillars include the Plus and Super lines, the former now consisting of the Plus 4 and Plus 6 models and the latter of the Super 3 three-wheelers.

The Plus line represents Morgan's more traditional models, combining classic design and traditional construction methods, while the Super represents the more experimental models.

The new product pillars Morgan unveiled Wednesday coincided with the unveiling of updates to the Plus 4 and Plus 6, which will be introduced in 2023.

Key changes include a refreshed interior featuring higher quality materials, including new wood finishes with parquet options, two-tone seat trim options, and Sennheiser audio. The dashboard is made of aluminum and the instrument cluster has a new design incorporating a digital screen. For automatic transmission models, the gear lever looks a bit out of place, as it features BMW's original design.

The engine and transmission in the Plus Four and Plus Six are supplied by BMW. The Plus Four is powered by a 255 hp 2.0-liter turbo four and the Plus Six by a 355 hp 3.0-liter turbo six, with a choice of a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.

Morgan also made several adjustments to the chassis. These include the addition of electronic stability control and the AP Racing Brake Package. The stability control is specifically tuned by model and transmission and can switch between assist levels depending on the selected driving mode.

The automatic transmission has also been recalibrated. The automatic transmission has also been recalibrated to better adapt to the driving style and driving mode selected. For example, in Sport and Sport+ modes, the transmission's shift patterns are more dynamic and more sensitive to changes in indicators such as brake pressure and steering angle. The system also detects when the vehicle is traveling uphill and automatically selects a lower gear on steep hills.

Finally, the suspension features new dampers and bushings.
