2024 Toyota GR Corolla, 2025 Porsche 718 EV: automotive news headlines

Toyota will increase production of the GR Corolla, a 300-horsepower hot hatch, due to popular demand. It will also offer the GR Corolla Circuit Edition, which was limited to just 1,500 units in 2023, for the 2024 model year and possibly beyond.

Porsche's CEO confirmed plans for the 718 electric car last year, and a prototype is currently being tested on public roads. The latest prototype spotted is the 718 Boxster Roadster, but an electric 718 Cayman coupe is also supposedly planned. Both will share technology and styling with Porsche's 2021 Mission R concept.

Land Rover is no stranger to SUVs with powerful engines, and its next likely to be the hardcore Defender, perhaps called the SVX.
