2024 Chevy Silverado HD with ZR2 and 2025 Lotus Envya: Automotive News Headlines

Chevrolet has introduced a ZR2 version of the Silverado 2500HD. This is Chevrolet's third ZR2 off-road truck, following the Colorado and Silverado 1500, and is available with a choice of a gas or diesel V-8.

Lotus is moving beyond traditional sports car territory with new models aimed at mainstream buyers. The first of these is the Eletre SUV, scheduled to hit showrooms in 2024. This will be followed by a sedan rumored to be the Envia, and we just snapped a photo of a prototype.

Ford unveiled a Mustang-based electric drag racer. The car produces four-digit horsepower, and Ford plans to use it to shatter its own quarter-mile record for a full-body electric car.
