Visit the Remac factory from the comfort of your home

After a delay related to the pandemic, Rimac Nevera began production in 2022 at a new plant outside Zagreb, Croatia. Rimac recently looked inside the factory in the form of drones flying around.

In just 1 and a half minutes, this is one of the fastest factory tours you can take. It starts at the company's office, moves to the assembly area and ends at the quality control area, where the car will be checked before shipment.

The Nevera production line, announced in 2021, was designed to produce 50 units per year, Rimac previously stated. This means that it will take 150 years to complete the planned production of 3 units. The assembly of each car takes 5 weeks. The first production car was announced in the 2022/27 season, and the following month the first car for customers was delivered to Formula 1 champion Nico Rosberg.

The Nevera is a production version of the Rimac C_Two concept, which first appeared at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show and is the successor to the Rimac Concept_One, Rimac's first electric hypercar. It produces 287 horsepower and 1,914 lb-ft of torque, while achieving an EPA-claimed flight range of 1,740 miles.

Rimac set a record of 23 production cars in Nevers for acceleration and braking, including a claimed 0-60 mph time of 1.74 seconds, 8.25 seconds, a standing mile time of 20.59 seconds and a 0-100-0 km/h time of 3.99 seconds. Prior to that, Rimac set a record for the world's fastest production electric car in 2022 with a top speed of 256 mph.

In addition to its own cars, Rimac is also responsible for the development of future Bugatti hypercars within the Bugatti Rimac company, which was founded in 2022. However, Bugatti will continue to produce the car at its own factory in Morsheim, France.
