Electric Mini Crossover "VinFast VF 3" May Be Launched in the U.S.

Vietnamese electric car startup VinFast appears to be planning its own attempt. The company unveiled its VF 3 mini crossover at the 2024 CES this week, hinting that it could be sold in the U.S.
The VF 3 is a new version of the VinFast VF 3, a car that will be sold in the United States.
The VF 3 was launched in Vietnam last summer, and its unveiling at CES marks the start of the vehicle's global launch; a VinFast spokesperson said the VF 3 is intended for sale in the U.S. and that the reservation process will begin in 2024. However, no details on timing or pricing are available at this time.
The VF 3 features a rugged design not unlike the Suzuki Jimny, which is popular overseas. However, the VF 3 is more than 10 inches shorter than the Jimny, with an overall length of only 125.6 inches. Despite this small size, VinFast claims that the VF 3 can comfortably seat four people and carry enough battery capacity for a 125-mile range. With the rear seats folded down, the maximum cargo capacity is 19.4 cubic feet.
Other features include 16-inch wheels, a 10.0-inch infotainment screen, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Vinfast also unveiled the VF Wild midsize truck concept and DrgnFly e-bike at CES. Vinfast has remained silent on production plans for the VF Wild, but the DrgnFly has already been promised for sale in the U.S. and is priced at about $2,800.
