Jeep Wrangler Tuscadero Returns for Those Who Love to Shine

Tuscadero Pink is back as a color option for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler.

First introduced on the 2021 Wrangler, this somber color was named after Pinky Tuscadero, a character on the 1970s sitcom "Happy Days." It was one of several limited edition colors Jeep introduced at the time and proved popular. Bill Peffer, head of the Jeep brand in North America, said in a statement that about 30,000 customers ordered the car when it was first released.

The pink tint has returned as an $895 option, up from $395 for 2021. It is available on the Wrangler Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and the V-8 Rubicon 392, which will be gone after 2024. Jeep is also selling a Rubicon 392 Final Edition to commemorate the end of this model, which would be quite a collector's item if ordered from Tuscadero.

The Tuscadero will initially be available with a black hardtop, a body-color hardtop, and a black softtop. The Jeep Sky One-Touch Power Roof will also be available starting late in the second quarter of this year.

Jeep is offering the Wrangler in eight colors for 2024, including Anvil, Earl, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Ginis, Hydro Blue, Bright White, and Basic Black.

The Wrangler lineup received several updates for the 2024 model year, including a new infotainment system, standard side airbags, and several mechanical changes to improve off-road performance.JL generation Wranglers date back to the 2018 model year back, but will not be replaced until 2028, when the next-generation J70 Wrangler arrives with only a plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrain.

Jeep did not confirm whether the interior will offer a Leather Tuscan Scadero option.
