2025 BMW i4 priced at $58,475 with a range of up to 318 miles

The BMW i4 will receive a mid-cycle refresh for the 2025 model year, along with the related BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, two-door 4 Series Coupe and convertible, and the high-performance M4, which will receive styling and other updates.

The updated i4, first previewed in April, has been tweaked with a hard-to-find exterior design. These include improved headlights and taillights with laser light accents similar to those used on the limited edition M4 CSL. New exterior color and wheel options have also been added.

On the interior, the i4 features a newly designed steering wheel, with additional trim options in brushed aluminum and a variety of open-pore wood finishes. iDrive 8.5 interface from BMW includes a 12.3-inch digital meter cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system on a curved display; Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and a heads-up display is available.

The single-motor rear-wheel-drive i4 eDrive35 that was the base model for 2024 is not listed in the 2025 i4 configurator, leaving the more powerful eDrive40 (also rear-wheel drive) as the least expensive option.

The 2025 eDrive40 starts at $58,475 including a $1,175 destination charge. This is $600 more than the equivalent 2024 model, but $5,100 more than the 2024 eDrive35. i4 eDrive40 still produces 335 hp, but BMW has increased the range to 318 miles from 301 miles.

Next up is the dual-motor all-wheel drive xDrive40, which starts at $63,475 (a $700 price increase) and reduces its maximum estimated range from 307 to 287 miles. The output, however, remains unchanged at 396 hp. The sportier dual-motor i4 M50 is priced at $71,875, $1,000 more than the 2024. The range will be reduced by only two miles to 267 miles, and the output will remain the same at 536 hp. All i4 models are available for order now and will arrive at dealerships shortly.
