2025 Land Rover Defender Beach Break, $73,325 for the beach.

A new surf and sun-inspired special edition has been added to the 2025 Land Rover Defender lineup.

The Beach Break model, limited to 20 units, adds Tasman Blue paint, a white roof, 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and unique trim color graphics to the Land Rover Defender 110 and complements the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Freewheeling Special Edition, giving it a retro look that cannot help but be compared to the Bronco Sport Freewheeling Special Edition.

The interior features upholstery that is “rugged enough to resist the beach elements,” according to JLR. The floor and cargo area are covered with rubber mats to keep sand out.

The Beach Break Edition also includes a roof crossbar, fixed side steps, mud flaps, and an exterior “gear box” mounted just forward of the rear roof pillar. These boxes are among the more unusual styling features of the current Defender, introduced for the 2020 model year.

This special edition model uses the same 2.0-liter turbo four engine that produces 296 hp as other Defender models. Land Rover also offers a 3.0-liter turbo six mild hybrid powertrain (395 hp) and a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine (493 or 518 hp) on other versions of the Defender. in 2025, Defender Octa performance flagship with a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 and 626 hp mild hybrid system will also join the lineup.

The Beach Break is priced at $73,325 with a mandatory $1,475 destination charge. For comparison, the standard four-door Defender 110 starts at $62,275; the two-door Defender 90 starts at $58,375 and the stretched Defender 130 at $71,175. Other models have undergone small changes for 2025, including a new options package that brings together popular features.
