2020 Audi RS 3 Nardo Edition - a pocket rocket with a speed of 174 km/h

Audi has unveiled a special version of the RS 3 aimed at pure performance: the 2020 Audi RS 3 Nardo Edition has a higher top speed than the standard model and a reconfigured sports suspension for improved on-track performance. Audi unveiled the car on Friday.

The sedan's electronic limiter has been raised to 174 mph, 19 mph more than the standard RS 3.

Other than the fixed sport suspension, which is a free option for the standard car, Audi made no mechanical changes. Magnetic shock absorbers are fitted as standard.

The Nardo Edition is powered by the same 2.5-liter turbocharged inline five-cylinder engine as the standard RS 3, producing 394 hp and 354 hp of torque. However, the Nardo Edition comes standard with a sport exhaust system, which should provide a more "soulful" sound.

As in other models, drive to all four wheels is transmitted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Because of this, the 0 to 60 mph acceleration time for a standard Audi car is estimated at 3.9 seconds, which also applies to the Nardo Edition.

The Nardo Edition comes with model-specific 19-inch wheels in the color Nardo Gray, Black Optic exterior trim and only red brake calipers. The interior features red stitching and crescendo trim, as well as carbon fiber inserts.

Audi offers familiar high-tech features in the Nardo Edition, including a virtual cockpit 12.3-inch instrument cluster that can be configured to display the shift lamp in manual mode The MMI infotainment system includes navigation and a touchpad for handwriting recognition. touchpad with handwriting recognition. touchpad with handwriting recognition.
