Q by Aston Martin is preparing a bespoke DBX SUV

The new Aston Martin DBX won't arrive in dealerships until later this year, but when this high-performance luxury SUV hits the market, it will already be available with a full range of options from the Q by Aston Martin personalization department.

Three levels of personalization are envisioned, from accessories to curated options to fully customization. In the latter case, buyers will be able to add their own colors, materials, etc.

A preliminary demonstration of some of the features will be shown on one of the cars at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show.

The list includes a unique matte gray paint job, 22-inch wheels with gloss black finish, anodized running boards, aluminum and carbon fiber trim, an extensive herringbone carbon fiber sheet lining the trunk floor, etc. includes.

The highlight is the unique carbon fiber trim on the floating center console and door trim. These parts are cut from a mass of 280 sheets of carbon fiber that are cured and then machined on a 5-axis machine. As a result, they look very modern compared to the somewhat dated leather trim usually used in such cases.

Aston Martin said on Sunday that everything featured on the show car will be offered to buyers.

The DBX will be available in 2021 with prices starting at $189,000 with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 542 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 181 mph. A hybrid variant is expected later, and Aston Martin's 5.2-liter V12 twin-turbo is not ruled out.

The Geneva Motor Show will open on March 3. More information on other cars scheduled to be unveiled at the show can be found on Specialized Hub.
