2024 Porsche Cayenne, one-off Lamborghini: best photos of the week

Porsche has been testing a prototype of the 2024 Cayenne for more than a year. This week, Porsche confirmed that it will debut in the spring and said that the powertrain, chassis, and interior will be tweaked along with new styling.

Rolls-Royce is also still testing a prototype of the Spectre, despite having already shown off the large electric coupe. In the latest tests, the prototype was exposed to temperatures as high as 122 degrees Celsius.

Genesis also tested a coupe-like version of the GV80. As a regular mid-size SUV, the GV80 competes with the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class, so it is only natural that Genesis would want an alternative to the coupe-like versions of these vehicles.

Lamborghini is close to unveiling a V-12 plug-in hybrid supercar to replace the Aventador. To mark this milestone, Lamborghini has unveiled two one-off cars.

The redesigned 2024 Ford Mustang will finally hit showrooms this summer, and the lineup will include a new track-focused variant dubbed Dark Horse. This week, Ford unveiled the full range of customization options available for the 500-horsepower Mustang.

The 2023 Chicago Auto Show took place this week and Toyota debuted the 2024 Grand Highlander. This three-row mid-size SUV will seat up to eight passengers with three powertrain options (two of which are hybrids) and will hit showrooms later this year.

Volkswagen unveiled the 2024 Atlas at the Chicago show. The old VR6 V-6 engine is gone, leaving the 2.0-liter turbo four as the only powertrain offered in the SUV.

And finally, Hennessey announced a supercharger upgrade for the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Hennessey is also preparing a twin-turbo upgrade for the Corvette, which the company says will offer up to 1,200 hp.
