2024 BMW X5 M and X6 M, 2024 Maserati GranTurismo: best photos of the week

BMW this week unveiled a mid-cycle refresh of its X5 M and X6 M performance SUVs. The update is significant and includes a new V-8 engine combined with mild hybrid technology.

Bentley has revealed that its twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W-12 engine will end next year. The final and most powerful version of this unique engine will be fitted in the limited edition Batur coupe, of which only 18 will be built.

Volkswagen's ID.Buzz is already available overseas, but the electric van will finally hit U.S. showrooms later this year. The reason for the delay is that a long-wheelbase version, still in development, will be available in the U.S. One prototype was also snapped this week.

Another vehicle captured by the spy photographer's long lens is Cadillac's mid-size three-row electric SUV. It is one of five EVs in Cadillac's lineup by the end of 2024.

Another Cadillac that made headlines this week was the updated XT4. The update represents a mid-cycle refresh for the compact crossover, with a technical overhaul in addition to styling tweaks.

And finally, a modern interpretation of the legendary 3.0 CSL went into production, the BMW. It produced over 550 hp from a twin-turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine.
