Ferrari reveals how the SF90 Stradale was created.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is an important technological milestone for the 'horse'. It is Ferrari's first plug-in hybrid and Ferrari's most powerful road car to date. Ferrari has released a video showing how this high-performance hybrid car will be built.

The video is very dramatic, thanks to a suspenseful soundtrack, but the narration in the video is brief. The video shows all the stages of the production process, although there is little explanation of what is happening.

At Ferrari's Maranello factory, man and machine work together to build each car. Engines are assembled by hand. The assembled bodies are also checked for defects and corrected by hand with a file. A team of humans and robots then paint each car.

The video also shows the Ferrari design process. It is a mixture of old-fashioned clay models and virtual reality digital visualizations.

The combination of old and new technology is reflected in the interior. The upholstery is cut by machine but assembled by hand. [The SF90 Stradale is Ferrari's new flagship, which ranks above the 812 Superfast in the lineup.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain consists of a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 (the same one used in the F8 Tribute) and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, combined with a three-motor electric drive system. The resulting power output was 986 hp.

One electric motor is located between the engine and the transmission. This motor either helps drive the rear wheels or recovers energy during braking. Two other electric motors drive the front axle and provide all-wheel drive for the SF90 Stradale. In all-electric mode, these motors are the sole source of power and the SF90 is front-wheel drive. Top speed in electric mode is limited to 84 miles per hour.

According to Ferrari, the SF90 Stradale has a top speed of 211 mph when both the V8 and electric drive are engaged. According to Ferrari, the SF90 Stradale accelerates to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds and 124 mph in 6.7 seconds. Ferrari also claims a lap time of 1 minute 19 seconds on the Fiorano test track. This is 0.7 seconds faster than the hybrid LaFerrari.

It's not just lap times that make the SF90 Stradale better than the LaFerrari. It uses electrification more efficiently than the LaFerrari, which did not have an official all-electric mode. The SF90 Stradale is also not a limited edition model. Like other Ferrari models, it will have a normal production run.
