This LEGO Technic Lamborghini Cian FKP 37 construction set consists of 3,696 parts.

Lamborghini's hybrid supercar has been reproduced as a LEGO kit. Initially called Sián, it was later given the suffix "FKP 37" in honor of the late Ferdinand Karl Piëch, born in 1937. The car is now a LEGO Technic kit with a whopping 3,696 pieces.

The LEGO Cyan FKP 37 is in 1/8 scale, so it will take up a lot of space on the shelf. The finished model is 23" long, 9" wide, and 5" tall.

It is also extremely detailed, with moving suspension, scissor doors that open, and a movable rear spoiler. According to Lamborghini, the miniature V-12 engine has moving pistons and a replica 8-speed sequential gearbox with moving paddle shifters is fully functional. The front trunk opens to reveal a small Lamborghini-branded overnight bag.

The full-size Cyan FKP 37's naturally aspirated V12 engine produces 774 horsepower, and an electric motor integrated with the gearbox kicks out another 34 horsepower, for a total system output of 807 horsepower. According to Lamborghini, the electric motor can drive the car alone at low speeds, with a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of over 217 mph. [Unlike conventional hybrids, the Cyan FKP 37 does not use a battery pack. Instead, it stores electricity in the world's first super capacitor, which Lamborghini claims is three times more powerful and three times lighter than a similarly sized battery pack.

The full-size Sián FKP 37 is priced at $2 million (production is limited to 63 units), so the Lego version seems like a relative bargain at $379.99. Owners can scan a QR code to access a behind-the-scenes video of those involved in the model's creation. The kit will be available in the U.S. beginning June 1.
